Summary


The position will be responsible for supporting the Benefits Team with development, management and execution of benefits and wellbeing programs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including the following, other duties may be assigned)


  • Supports benefit enrollments, plan year changes, and annual enrollment changes in the Workday HRIS and other ad hoc projects throughout the year
  • Ensure accuracy of benefit data in Workday, inclusive of benefit enrollment support
  • Maintains relationships with benefits consultants, vendors, providers; ensures vendors meet our high customer service standards
  • Expert knowledge in Workday (Super User) and proficient Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook and Excel)
  • Manages new hire benefit orientation meeting process and ensure seamless benefits onboarding of new hires
  • Coordinates on-site and virtual benefit events throughout the year that align with benefits strategy
  • Administer Health & Welfare employee benefit programs ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
  • Audit data to ensure accurate transmission of employee information to benefit vendors and providers
  • Work with all levels of staff and assist them in completing new hire benefits paperwork and answer related benefits questions concerning insurance and other state benefits
  • Oversee administration of benefit processes such as: participant enrollment, regular payroll audit and invoicing and benefit deductions and subsidies
  • Supports with development and distribution of communications materials
  • Partner with Treasury, Finance and Accounts Payable on timely invoice processing as well as billing reconciliation
  • Assists with the maintenance and updating of the benefits dashboard, benefits brochures, communication campaigns, and benefits process documentation, including standard operating procedures
  • Reconcile monthly benefit billings to Payroll, identify and resolve billing and/or Payroll discrepancies, and monthly vendor invoices
  • Resolution oriented and has the ability to work independently within a dynamic and robust environment
  • Perform other related work as assigned
  • Supports and coordinates with third party specialty Leave Administrator to update internal records
  • Supports the development of benefits programs (Health, Risk, Wellbeing, and Retirement)
  • Provides top tier escalation support for benefits inquiries and works closely with HR Business Partners and HR functional groups to ensure resolution


Qualifications


  • Experience working in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
  • Able to function independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to understanding and applying HR best practices
  • Ability to balance “hands-on” administrative needs with client service responsibilities
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience using HR systems (such as Workday)
  • Proven commitment to providing quality work and attention to detail; work must be delivered accurately and on-time
  • Proven project management skills to move projects forward


Education And Certificates


  • 5+ years of HR and benefits related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred


PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.


Salary Range: $ 100,000.00 - $ 112,500.00
