Job Description

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating and identifying supplies to fill needs and best practices to save money

• Soft Skills and people facing

• Sourcing equipment and services

• Purchases materials, supplies, equipment, and non-professional

• Reviews requisitions, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure clarity and compliance

• Confers with customers to resolve questions regarding purchase requirements

• Researches and identifies procurement strategies and sources of supply to obtain products

• Issues requests for bids; conducts pre-bid job-walks; answers questions, clarifies requirements,

and issues amendments.


Qualifications

• BA / BS degree with preferred focus on Procurement, and/or equivalent work experience

• Experience 1-4 years of experience

• Experience in one of the following: JDEdwards, Oracle, SAP or Hyperion, ERP
