Profile Summary

This role will form part of the US Growth and Strategy team. The role is to manage, develop and execute our coverage, investment process and strategic initiatives.

Profile Responsibilities

• Reviewing investment thesis on active transactions for congruence with equity story/ strategy
• Process management of strategic initiatives
• Part of deal team, ensuring smooth execution of transaction and coordination of internal and external parties
• Managing our coverage process
• Managing 3rd party suppliers (bankers, lawyers etc.)
• Risk exposure/ company model
• Analysis of ongoing opportunities for Resolution Life in North America
• To keep abreast of the latest developments across the company
• To ensure support is effective and provided efficiently and to clearly defined timescales.
• Managing the data room
• Transaction opportunity analysis
• Creating marketing and DD materials for M&A projects
• To actively promote and uphold the values of the company.
• To ensure that colleagues, customers, advisors and stakeholders are valued and treated with respect.
• Management of M&A team internal meetings and deliverables
• Analysis of solutions
• Aiding in production of IC papers
• Ensuring transaction and company wide updates are shared with the business

Knowledge & Skills

• At least 2-4 years’ strategy experience in a related role including familiarity with Investment Banking / PE
• Proficient with excel and PowerPoint
• Bachelors Degree
• Knowledge of insurance/ financial products
• Ability to recognise potential conflicts and acknowledge where guidance is required / necessary.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical/numerical background
• Ability to work as an individual contributor, take initiative and problem-solve.
• Ability to make recommendations and drive actions under own initiative, taking the lead in prioritising multiple requirements.
• Excellent ability to quickly build strong relationships with a broad network of stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision and cope with ambiguity

Location: New York, NY

For roles being performed in New York City, Resolution Life is required to include a reasonable estimate of the base salary for the role. This base salary range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making base salary decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Resolution Life, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, allowing for future salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,700 to $187,100
