About The Role
The New York City-based Associate Project Manager will be responsible for managing hospitality client projects as well as specific sales support functions for the Hospitality team. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate production, logistics, and timeline of multi-spec hospitality and commercial projects to help reach the overall sales goal.
- Communicate and embody Schumacher's brand message.
- Troubleshoot client issues and ensure client success by collaborating with internal departments (Finance, Procurement, Shipping, and Sales Support Teams).
- Partner closely with Design Consultant and Project Manager teams to support clients by coordinating hospitality projects from start to finish.
- Build strong customer and vendor relationships through consistent delivery of the highest quality product and client service.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to enjoy a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Previous experience in project management is an advantage.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing start-up environment.
- Comfort learning new software systems.

- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Interest in design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and sales skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 2-3 years of relationship and project management experience.
- A positive, goal-oriented team player with a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite, Acrobat suite.
- Team motivator with a strong work ethic and a can-do positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, meet deadlines and wear many “hats”.
- Bachelor degree preferred
