Supply Planner Jobs

POSITION SUMMARY: The Supply Planner is responsible for working cross functionally with demand planning, sales, and production facilities to ensure sufficient inventory is available to meet our customers needs. This position will need to manage appropriate safety stock levels based on product life cycle in order to reduce or eliminate excess and obsolete inventory.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor on time shipment
• Create POs to be sent to Israel / Europe based on consensus forecast; update and escalate as needed
• Analyze supply needs to reduce excess inventory and work with sales team on strategy to reduce excess and slow-moving inventory.
• Work with global Supply Chain to provide guidance in prioritizing vessel departures out of Israel or Europe as needed based on NA customer priorities, aligned with Sales leadership
• Provide inventory allocation constraints by customer (when capacity constrained) to Sales leader, who will provide the customer allocation recommendation
• Recommend DOS targets (Safety stock) and monitor adherence; adjust POs as needed
• Understand and analyze inventory by product category in Israel & NA warehouse locations, including running customer specific inventory and internal inventory projection reports to send to Sales and Sales Operations
• Build & maintain constraints to forecast

Requirements:
Required Skills / Abilities:

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• PowerBI experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to drive process development and improvement
• Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams on initiatives that improve forecasting, minimize inventory, and optimize cost to serve
• Ability to analyze data and make decisions and recommendations based on relevant information
• IPR experience preferred
• Track record of working across several different categories, with knowledge of peak season planning
• Experience working with large big box retailers and ecommerce (direct and drop ship)
• Systems knowledge in SAP, APO
• Experience with POS and inventory reporting
• Entrepreneurial, agile mentality

Education / Experience:

• 5+ years experience in global supply with a durables company; demand experience preferred
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• APICS certification or equivalent preferred
