Position Title: Associate, Business Manager
Location: 400 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94105

Summary of Duties: BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. seeks an Associate, Business Manager to interact with external and internal stakeholders, including BlackRock senior management, Portfolio Management, Trading, Strategy, Internal Audit, Business Operations, Legal & Compliance, among others. Develop and execute action plans for key business objectives and focus areas, bridging current and future state. Collaborate with external and internal business partners to acquire and onboard data and facilitate technology enhancements which address the evolving needs of the business. Work closely with senior management on key strategic projects and initiatives including new product development and launches. Act as lead on projects for the platform that relate to portfolio management, investment, technology, and business processes. Help mitigate operational risk and promote a culture of compliance. Support the management of budget and headcount. Promote firm, business and regulatory policies, and procedures.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as an Analyst, Graduate Program, or related role. Must also have two (2) years of experience with: utilizing project management software JIRA to monitor data onboarding process and manage development items; programming using Python to automate reporting and portfolio management processes; utilizing business intelligence technologies, including SQL, Tableau, and Aqua Data Studio for project management and process improvements; utilizing Visio for portfolio management, system, and documentation; utilizing Microsoft suite of applications to develop presentation materials for senior stakeholders.

For California only the salary range for this position is $144,000 – $145,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
