The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Associate with 3-6 years of complex commercial litigation experience.

Our Litigation Department of more than 170 lawyers across the firm's global platform offers a full-service litigation practice, with specific practice areas in commercial litigation, consumer financial services litigation, product liability, bankruptcy, class action defense, construction, eDiscovery, government contracts, trade secrets, computer fraud and non-competes, intellectual property, and securities. The Day-to-day

As an associate in the Litigation Department, you'll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.

You Have

• Stellar writing ability and excellent academic credentials, as writing ability is critical for this position (we ask that you submit two writing samples with your application)
• 3-6 years of complex commercial litigation experience in a law firm; trial experience is a plus
• Desire to support fast moving deadline-driven cases, such as action to protect trade secrets, where we represent clients as both plaintiffs and defendants
• Candidate must be admitted to the California State Bar
• Experience taking and defending depositions and working with expert witnesses
• Strong analytical and verbal communication skills
• Experience preparing pleadings and contested motions (such as complaints, motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, applications for temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunction)

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $220,000 - $300,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
