About Us


Zoic Studios is an award winning VFX company made up of accomplished individuals who understand story, process and relationships. We apply these principles to our work on some of the most VFX intensive projects out there. Some of our recent credits include, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Legion, The Good Place, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.


Our Culver City, CA location is currently seeking compositors with immediate availability and strong shot finishing skills for a variety of different episodic television series.



Compositors will work in a team environment taking direction from the Creative Director, VFX Supervisor, and 2D lead on high volume projects.


The ideal candidate should have experience using Nuke in production. Strong CG integration experience is also a major plus. Must work well in a small team environment and take directions well in a quick turn-around time frame.


Minimum Requirements:


  • 3+ years of Nuke Compositing experience with medium and large scale productions
  • Solid knowledge of CG integration with multi-pass EXR.


Additional Qualifications:


  • Updated reel with most up to date work (that can be released) and shot breakdown.
  • Works well with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to take artistic direction.
  • Organized, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert eye for color and composition.
  • Excellent understanding of 3D multi-pass rendering techniques and color space concepts.
  • Knowledge of projection, matte painting integration, CG integration, EXR integration, rig removal.
