Catholic School Teacher Position

Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic School is looking for a teacher who is committed to working in a faith-based community, enthusiastic about learning and achieving goals, resourceful, flexible, hard-working, team-player, with a growth mindset for him/herself and students.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing ADLA and CA standard-based lessons, planning school masses (each grade is in charge of a month), utilizing formative and summative assessments to drive and differentiate instruction, having strong communication with parents, strong classroom management skills, and being able to integrate technology in daily instructions.

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education

CA teaching credential or enrolled in a CA teaching credential program

Technology skills (familiarity with iPads, Google Classroom, ClassDojo) and ability to integrate technology into instruction

Practicing Catholic and knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church

Catechetical Certification (or willingness to complete this certification)

Virtus trained and fingerprinted through the ADLA (or willingness to complete this process)

Have current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to complete this certification)

Have excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
