Responsibilities
Program Management and Execution:
Collaborate with the Director of Faculty Professional Development to plan and implement a wide range of faculty programs, including online courses, workshops, conferences, and hybrid formats.
Ensure program content reflects evidence-based research in organizational behavior, social psychology, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
Apply analytical skills and subject-matter expertise to generate data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
Build strong relationships with internal partners, external vendors, and technology teams to ensure seamless program delivery.
Maintain a consistent offering of programs on a regular basis and facilitate workshops and presentations as needed.
Online Learning And Course Development
Lead the development of engaging and inclusive online learning content, leveraging educational technologies and tools such as Canvas, Articulate 360, and Camtasia.
Evaluate and oversee instructional design work for online courses, ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with our values of workplace inclusion, education and health equity, and mentorship.
Collaborate with the Professional Development Group to build a faculty micro-learning library, providing valuable resources to support continuous learning.
Content Curation And Collaboration
Curate and write compelling content, resources, and speaker materials for faculty programs, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Review and guide content generated by team members, faculty speakers, contributors, and consultants.
Facilitate faculty and consultant recruitment as subject matter experts, while nurturing a collaborative and supportive environment.
Program Scaling And Strategic Goals
Partner with the Directors and Faculty Associate Deans to scale up our program portfolio and meet the evolving needs of our diverse faculty population.
Run existing programs effectively and independently, while contributing to the development of a robust online, just-in-time learning and training environment.
Contribute to the launch of new faculty development and engagement initiatives, promoting faculty growth and overall excellence.
Communication And Marketing
Collaborate with the internal communication and marketing team to promote our faculty programs within various communities and departments.
Advise on program recommendations and contribute to program assessments and inquiries.
Review and write content for our websites, program materials, and announcements to ensure clarity and appeal.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in educational design, psychology, sociology, organizational behavior, or learning and instructional design.
3-5 years of relevant experience in developing and launching interactive and engaging online learning content.
Experience implementing learning and development programs in diverse and remote work environments.
Applied knowledge of adult learning principles, organizational development, and/or faculty development practices.
Proven ability to manage shifting priorities and handle multiple time-sensitive projects with tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in complex organizational structures and influence without formal authority.
Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability to change, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Certification in coaching, teaching, or related areas is a plus.
Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree and three or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training, and experience. Advanced degree may be required for specific programs.
Experience managing budgets and developing financial plans for programs.
Working Conditions
Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, or weekends as needed.
Occasional local and overnight travel may be required.
