ASSISTANT CORPORATE CONTROLLER

Up to 175k base, some flexibility, plus bonus

Our company is experiencing significant growth both organically and through acquisitions. To this end, we are hiring for a high-visibility role that will report directly to the VP, Corporate Controller with the primary goal of modernizing our current financial close and account reconciliation process.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month end close process.

• Maintain responsibility for the accounting and reporting of inventory, including monitoring the Company’s controls over inventory counts and related items.

• Lead and supervise the accounting and reporting around real estate and leases (including sale-leasebacks and real and personal property tax), which will include frequent interaction with the Company’s lease administration, fixed assets, and real estate teams.

• Drive change to modernize and digitize existing accounting processes.

• Oversee integration and purchase accounting for large scale acquisitions.

Role Requirements:

The ideal candidate has at least 5 to 7 years of experience with a big 4 accounting firm and hands-on experience managing projects and working with cross functional teams.

• Key areas of experience are as follows:

 Month end close process

 ASC 842 experience

 Technical accounting

 Experience auditing, reviewing and analyzing large company financial statements

 Strong understanding of the financial statements and how they are interconnected

 Financial Planning and Analysis

 Ability to understand and implement accounting guidance

 Strong communication skills
