Coda Search is partnering with a well-known organization that is seeking to hire a Controller with offices located in New York, NY. This is a dynamic firm that is a market leader within its space with offices all across the globe. The team is seeking to hire a Controller who will be responsible for preparing/reviewing the consolidated financial statements, budget, forecasting, cashflow analysis and overseeing all day-to-day accounting functions. The Controller will work closely with the CFO and the senior leadership team and providing key insights into the business and managing all internal controls and processes.

Responsibilities:

Preparing/reviewing the monthly consolidated financial statements

Lead and review the month end close

Manage the GL preparing any adjusting entries

Improve internal controls and procedures

Supervise and lead a small team

Lead the annual audit and work closely with the external auditors

Qualifications:

Bachelors in Accounting/finance/business

Prior public accounting/big 4 experience preferred

CPA a plus

Prior supervisory and management experience

Create, improving internal accounting controls and procedures

Excellent communication and presentation skills
