HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Business Intelligence Developer to work with our sales organization to build compelling and impactful visual dashboards and to automate complex manual reporting processes.
- Design and implement complex multi-dimensional data models that support reporting and analytics.
- Utilize Java / Scala programming languages to develop custom data processing scripts and integrate external data sources into the BI environment.
- Optimize and tune the performance of business intelligence solutions to deliver fast and responsive user experiences.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI applications, resolving issues and ensuring system availability.
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient QlikView / Sense dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively present complex data in a user-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and business intelligence and data analytics best practices.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract, transform, and load data from diverse data sources into the business intelligence platform.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, methodologies, and tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong expertise in QlikView / Sense (or similar) for developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Strong understanding of database concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence development, data modelling, analytics, or a similar role.
- Solid programming skills in Java, Scala (or others) for data processing and integration tasks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, GBQ ).
- Knowledge of other BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy).
- Experience in the financial industry or a related field.
