Position Overview:
As an Area Sales Director for their trauma product division, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the growth and establishing a strong presence in the central or western region of the United States. With a proven track record of sales growth and a deep understanding of trauma products, you will leverage your expertise to expand the customer base, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue generation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional sales targets and objectives.
- Identify key growth opportunities, analyze market trends, and assess competitive landscape to drive business expansion.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, physicians, hospital administrators, and procurement professionals.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and educational sessions to showcase the unique features and benefits of our trauma products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling trauma products, with a demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of the trauma market, including key players, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
