Job Description
DESCRIPTION

GBA is an architectural design firm located in Costa Mesa that specializes in public school facilities: We are currently seeking an Architectural Drafter with 2+ years of professional experience in the production of construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Previous experience with educational projects a plus.

DUTIES

We are seeking a design oriented, core team member who has the technical ability to work effectively to carry out the design intent of senior staff.

  • Support the design efforts of project architects
  • Assist in obtaining approvals through various governmental agencies
  • Work collaboratively and constructively with all team members
  • Ability to work well under pressure, complete deadlines, switch priorities as needed, and have an eye for details
  • Prepare architectural construction documents using AutoCAD/Revit

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

Qualified individuals will have two years minimum experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. You should be organized and have good written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree

SALARY/WAGES

Commensurate with skills and experience. This is a 40hr/week assignment with standard 8-5/M-F work hours at our Costa Mesa office. Full benefits package includes medical, dental and 401k plan.
