3D CAD DRAFTER

The 3D CAD Drafter at ARCH will work closely with our Engineering & Manufacturing team ensuring accuracy and completeness of CAD models and drawings. We are seeking a team member with a minimum of 2 years as a CAD Drafter in the manufacturing & assembly environment and 3 years of experience using Solidworks.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone with forward thinking and the ability to see potential issues while collecting supporting data and facts.

This position is in-house and does not allow for work from home (no remote).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Update Assembly documentation per ECR’s
• Maintain 3D models & drawings library
• Process & maintain ECR’s & ECR log
• Create 2D drawings from 3D models
• Create 3D models using Solidworks
• Update & Maintain BOM’s
• Revise 3D models per ECR’s and/or verbal instruction
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements Qualifications & Education:

• Detail orientated
• Deductive reasoning & problem solving
• Read and follow technical instructions
• Drafting standards & best industry practices
• ERP systems
• Minimum 2 years as a CAD Drafter in the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to accurately use basic measuring tools. (Calipers, micrometer, etc.)
• 3 years of Solidworks experience… 2018 up

Computer Skills:

• Solidworks experience 3 years minimum
• Microsoft Windows
• Google Suite…..Chrome, Drive, Gmail
• Microsoft Suite….Excel, Word

Language Skills:

• Fluent in written and verbal English
• Able to read and interpret documents
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries from others, including managers, coworkers, and vendors.
