Assistant Architectural Designer & Project Manager

Pave Talent is hiring an Assistant Architectural Designer & Project Manager for our client, a full-service architectural firm with over 30 years of experience. They provide services for civic, law enforcement, K-12 education, higher education, religious, healthcare, youth, detention, animal care, fleet services, and laboratory facilities. This is a full-time role with excellent benefits, including 3 weeks of PTO, an annual bonus, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a 401(k) with an employer match.

As a member of their team, you will be assisting in managing all project phases, from conceptual design through construction administration, and collaborating with the project team to develop design solutions and prepare presentations. The candidate will also be expected to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives. Furthermore, they will assist in preparing project specifications, bidding documents, and contract documents, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lastly, the role involves active participation in client meetings and presentations.

What are we looking for?

• You're proficient with technology: Sketch Up, REVIT, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• You have 2+ years of experience with Architectural Design in the Public Sector or other complex Commercial Projects. Priori experience in the following areas is most ideas: civic, law enforcement, K-12 education, higher education, religious, healthcare, youth, detention, animal care, fleet services, and laboratory facilities.
• You communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• You're ethical and honest, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• You're positive and patient, with a knack for teaching and empowering others.
