Description

The Drafter reports to the Drafting/Department Supervisor along with other Drafters and receives day-to-day direction from their supervisor as well as other engineering personnel in order to prioritize and perform his/her design/drafting duties in a highly accurate and timely fashion. The Designer/Drafter is responsible for all documentation and design effort in support of new and modified products. This includes layout, conceptual “Sales” drawings, detail, sub-assembly, final assembly drawings, modeling and other limited analysis, all as required. He/she will provide support and assistance to others within the department, and supports the manufacturing, production, and assembly of our existing products by maintaining product documentation to the most current, approved revision status.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experienced with 3D Models
• Must have GED or HS diploma
• 3D modeling with Solidworks ProE and Inventor
• 2D modelling with CAD Key
• Minimum 2+ years of experience
• Strong experience documenting on CAD
