Drafter Jobs

HOIST Fitness Systems, a leading manufacturer in fitness strength equipment, has an immediate opening for a Drafter. This position supports the engineering department in the design of new and existing products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Using SolidWorks to develop drawings
• Document control internally and with outside manufacturers
• Creating manuals utilizing SolidWorks & SolidWorks Composer
• Analyzing and detailing drawings from design engineers
• Interfacing with cross functional teams including Quality Control, Marketing , Product Support and Purchasing

Qualifications include:

• Adobe Illustrator a Plus
• AA degree or equivalent
• SolidWorks Composer experience
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems
• Must be able to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong ability to communicate and ask questions!
• Ability to read, produce and edit engineering drawings
• Solid general computer skills a must with an emphasis on Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong ability to visualize how things are assembled
• Strong knowledge of Solidworks (Configurations and Explosions A MUST, Workgroup PDM a PLUS)
