Overview Of The Role


This role sits within the Americas operational excellence team and provides great visibility to sales strategy leadership. Our Mission is to unify all Americas Operating Units under a single operating model by scaling assets and best practices across all operating units through tight partnership with our stakeholders. As part of the role, you will be forming deep connections and gain well rounded knowledge of the strategic and operational facets of Salesforce’s business model. A successful candidate is proactive, possess strong analytical skills, deals well with ambiguity and changing priorities and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities


  • Build clear and concise presentations to convey current state of business and performance against target and past performance
  • Assist in developing ad-hoc data analysis to present to Sales Strategy and COO group
  • Design and create analytical tools at scale that satisfies immediate and long term strategic and operational needs
  • Partner with strategy and other cross functional stakeholders to scope areas for operational improvements
  • Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly / quarterly business reviews for executive consumption
  • Support Salesforce process enhancements, modifications and best practices development
  • Build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations to sales strategy and leadership.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools


Minimum Requirements


  • Detail and quality-oriented with the desire to quickly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • 2-4+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting or sales strategy/business operations roles


Preferred Requirements


  • Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high quality project plans
  • Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly pivot to new priorities
  • Familiarity with CRM and Salesforce reporting
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast pace, rapid change environment
  • Exposure to and/or high degree of comfort with Python, SQL, Tableau

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,100 to $153,700.


For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,100 to $153,700.


Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
