Analyst, Pd & Client Calls

Job Summary

The primary role of the Analyst is to ensure timely and efficient sourcing support for all product development and client pieces and inquiries.

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Coordinating job orders of product development/special project/client requests by reviewing and finalizing BOM, lead time in GEM.

• Operational processing in terms of consumption and de-consumption for soft and hard prototypes and production test run units.

• Communicating with stone suppliers to meet requested sourcing due date for the PD and special client orders.

• Keeping a systematic track of all PD projects.

• Corresponding with product development, client services, merchandise planning and estate jewelry to accommodate their daily requests.

• Maintaining close cross-functional relationships with groups such as Product Development, Merchandise Planning, Supply Management, Quality Assurance and Logistics.

• Providing backup role on product development and client estimates of new product designs, special projects and client request designs in timely manner.

• Cross functional coordination and communication to prioritize rushes throughout the supply chain.

• Making decisions with Vendors on scheduling, and prioritization in order to meet the needs of the business.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above with 4+ years of business experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision

• Strong judgment and confidence

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with Management

• Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

• Proficient Microsoft Excel skills

• Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement

• Strong organizational and problem solving skills necessary

• Fine Jewelry and gemstone knowledge/experience a plus
