The Airside Operations Department is looking for a highly organized individual with demonstrated experience in airside facilities in an Airside & Terminal Resource Systems Manager - promotional role to manage, align and optimize terminal common use facilities systems allocation, activities and facilities activations throughout the airport system consistently with organizational strategies and objectives; integrates sustainable practices into programs, projects and deliverables, and:

• Implements standards for and controls daily operational activities in area of responsibilities; integrates sustainable and cost savings approach to work processes; develops and manages scope, deliverables, estimates, proposals, designs and schedules consistently with mandates; oversees selection of consulting services and delivery
• Collaborates and negotiates activities with stakeholders; leads problem resolution discussions; maintains partnerships with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, consultants; shapes perspectives and gains commitments; represents programs, projects and makes presentations; formulates and communicates goals and objectives.
• Interprets projects and programs scope and strategizes across groups delivers; manages potential and real time resource availability challenges and flight schedules; resolves allocation discrepancies and provides support in the creation, development and activation of cross functional projects and initiatives; ensures alignment of work efforts with organizational priorities and programs.
• Identifies, deploys and maintains technological resources to enhance operations; designs and integrates operational practices, budgets, benchmarks, data and defines metrics; documents projects activities and plans; generates reports, written materials and learning plans; keeps current with industry trends and sustainable practices; performs related duties as assigned.
• Oversees the complexity and optimization of operational and terminal resource management solutions, technology and information storage involving gate schedule planning and assignments, remain overnight aircraft parking positions, baggage carousels, ticket counters, check-in, loading bridge, flight information displays and other common use resources; manages facilities project activation strategies and delivery; deploys solutions to conflicting priorities; ensures the compliance of work efforts with standards, mandates and regulations
• Coaches and fosters teams success, competencies, accountability, development, diversity, inclusion, learning, customer focus and productive work environment; recognizes and rewards achievements, completes corrective action; ensures application of safe work practices

Requirements

Required Education, Training and Experience:

• Or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• This recruitment is only open to current San Diego County Regional Airport Authority employees*
• Recruitment will close on August 2nd,2023*
• Four years of aviation operations, construction and/or airport common use systems experience of which at least two years were in a supervisory capacity.
• Four year degree in aviation management, information technology, project management or a closely related field

The hiring salary for this position is $91,372.

The full salary range for this position is $76,622- $126,427.
