Position Overview:

Chemonics International seeks an Advisor for Talent Management. The Advisor, Talent Management (TM) reports directly to the Sr. Director, Talent Management and Learning and contributes significantly to the development and implementation of Chemonics’ talent management and development strategy. The Advisor, TM directly supervises a team of talent management professionals, ensuring projects and activities are implemented in a timely manner. They serve as the technical business function network lead for talent management, establishing enterprise-level policy and standards and collaborating with business line HR on roll-out and continuous improvement. The Advisor, TM is expected to collaborate closely and inclusively across all of HRD and with stakeholders across the company, demonstrate excellent customer service, and provide timely consultative expertise to help find solutions for emerging HR challenges.


Responsibilities:

· In collaboration with the Sr. Director, Talent Management and Learning, develops and implements Chemonics’ talent management and development strategy, establishing and continuously improving our performance management approach and associated standards, guidance, and analysis, ensuring a clear connection to meeting business goals and our values, competencies, and career progression

· Develops and implements annual work plans, directly supervising a team of talent development professionals to ensure timely, high-quality service provision and implementation of projects

· Partners with the Executive Office to develop and maintain an enterprise-level leadership and succession planning strategy and process, in alignment with Chemonics’ professional growth philosophy

· Analyzes exit surveys, staff feedback, retention/turnover data, and other relevant data to inform design and improvement of talent development programs

· Serves as the talent development business function network lead, collaborating closely with HR Business Line Leads in the development, roll-out, and continuous improvement of HR professional standards, guidance, and training to support consistent and strengthened HR management across Chemonics’ enterprise

· Analyzes HR risk, changes in legal environment, and case trends, overseeing HR policy reviews, high-profile / high-risk employee relations cases, and reorganizations in partnership with business line HR and in consultation with General Counsel, as needed

· Provides overall leadership and task supervision for talent management team, communicating clear performance goals and standards, offering regular feedback and prompt resolution of problems, and promoting staff development through coaching, mentoring, and facilitating professional growth opportunities.

· Any other duties, as necessary

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. HR certifications a plus.

· Minimum 8 years of progressive human resources experience in all functional HR areas, including employee relations required. Chemonics and international development experience a plus.

· Experience with interpretation and application of US and international employment laws and management of high-profile cases.

· Demonstrated mastery of critical project management and change management skills required, experience rolling out new systems a plus.
· Ability to solve complex managerial, or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge.
· Proven ability to train and mentor teams efficiently and effectively, and demonstrated integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
· Demonstrated ability to provide proactive customer service to both internal and external clients required .
· Ability to maintain discretion and work with highly confidential and/or protected information.
· Exhibits high emotional IQ with emphasis on empathy and compassion.
· Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and HR information systems.
· Authorization to work in the U.S. required.

The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $103,680 - $129,600.

An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
