Job Description

Summer Administrative Assistant: Full-Time

·Work hours: Monday- Friday

·(Paid Orientation on Site: Friday, July 14th, 11 am-2 pm)

·Full time-9:00 am-5:00 pm (8 hours with a 30min unpaid lunch, 2 10-minute breaks)

·Starting salary is $16.00 per hour

At Twegrow Incorporated, the full-time administrative assistant will be responsible for many clerical tasks to ensure the staff can communicate and work efficiently. Their job involves answering phone calls, greeting visitors, distributing mail, and preparing communications for both Twegrow Incorporated and Twebuild Construction.

This job also entails assisting the executive members of Twegrow Incorporated with the day-to-day operations of an office by doing tasks such as filing paperwork, answering phone calls, preparing documents for meetings, and managing the calendar of the supervisors.

In this position, effective communication skills are essential, speaking clearly, being personable, and welcoming when answering incoming calls. Use proper grammar and put people at ease when they're on the phone or when speaking one-on-one with other staff members or customers.

The administrative assistant may be asked to assist with the following duties related to the Urgent Overnight Program:

·Contact families from the program with reminders, updates, etc.

·Assist with planning games, events, and activities related to the Overnight program.

·Prior to ending the day, set up/ prep areas for the incoming Overnight Program (mostly Thursday and Friday evenings)

·Contact Overnight care providers with messages, updates, etc.


Requirements and skills

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • High School degree or additional qualification as an administrative assistant or Secretary is highly recommended, but not required.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Some experience as an Administrative Assistant,Virtual Assistantor Office Admin Assistant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Some knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Demonstrate flexibility as the company expands
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
