Job Description

Our company is hiring two Administrative Assistants to work at Fermi Nuclear Power Plant in Newport, MI now through the end of the year. Prefer someone local to the Newport/Detroit, Michigan area (no per diem). Looking to hire ASAP and work through the end of year. The hours would be Monday through Friday 7-3:30. That includes a half hour unpaid lunch.


The Nuclear Records Clerk stores, maintains, and retrieves quality assurance records. Performs administrative review, data input, and processing, including scanning, distributing of plant design documents. Maintains storage facilities and handles confidential information. Persons filling this position are performing activities associated with Fermi 2 meeting the requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix B Criteria V, VI, XVII.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure file organization based on office protocol
  • Data input and processing
  • Stores, maintains, and retrieves quality assurance records
  • Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
  • Scanning, distributing of plant design documents
  • Work with high-speed scanners that have software to pick up the meta data (input) for the records being processed

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Organized
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Self-motivated
  • Capable of handling confidential/secure information
