The Administrative Assistant is responsible maintaining office processes though answering phones, scheduling meetings, maintaining an accurate file system, managing calendars, responding to inquiries, and other tasks that are crucial to the office functions.

Essential Job Duties

Customer Interaction

  • Supports valued business relationships in all dealings with related departments aiming to resolve customer and other issues in a timely manner. Approaches peers and customers with a spirit of positive problem resolution
  • Establishes and maintains professional business dealings with customers and vendors at all times.
  • Promptly responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, or fax with courtesy in a professional demeanor.
  • Conducts personal interactions with customers representative of a company with strong, ethical standards.
  • Professionally and efficiently answer, screen and forward incoming calls. Take and deliver messages as needed. Greet all visitors (customers, vendors, and job applicants) in a polite, courteous, professional, and welcoming manner. Check visitors in, direct or escort them to specific destinations.
  • Provides excellent customer service through timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
