Wage/Salary: $40,000 to $45,000


Position Summary


Administrative Assistant/Timekeepers provide exceptional customer service to participants and others who visit Families Forward Opportunity Centers. They also play a pivotal role in managing the participant flow each day and capturing participant attendance.


Essential Job Functions


  • Mail outreach letters to program participants who have missed activities.
  • Mark participant attendance for internal and external activities.
  • Upholds all agency policies and expectations in performing their job.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities.
  • Warmly answers and directs calls.
  • Warmly greets every visitor to their Opportunity Center.
  • Ensures the reception area is always covered.
  • Runs report in Fedcap CARES and use data to plan daily tasks.
  • Ensures phones are always answered.
  • Represents Fedcap and Families Forward with all stakeholders and in the community in a positive and professional manner.
  • Schedules participants for appointments with Families Forward staff.
  • Identifies and orders needed office supplies.
  • Collects and time stamps documentation provided by program participants.
  • Conducts calls to program participants to remind them of orientation and other appointments.


Education And Experience


  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service.
