LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing plant in South Chandler. This company is in search of an administrative assistant to support drivers, their trucks and the shipments coming in and going out. This role is Monday-Friday but may have a start time as early as 3am. These shifts will be 8-10 hours a day, depending on the workload. The pay range for this position is between $22/hr-$24/hr.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of manufacturing plant. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative processes.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of manufacturing plant. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee material amounts, truck identities and issuance of weigh certificates in compliance with county and stated regulations
- Maintain and update various databases and spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with different departments to facilitate efficient communication and workflow.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Greet drivers and their vehicles when they are dropping off shipments.
- Checking vehicle weights to ensure they match corresponding paperwork
- Prepare and distribute memos, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Order and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- MUST have some flexibility with schedule and hours
