Job Description
Seeking a job with the state that allows you to use your great administrative skills like customer service and multitasking? Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC) located in Norman, Oklahoma is looking to add a full time Administrative Assistant to join their new Children’s URC team. The Urgent Recovery Center is a 24 hour crisis intervention for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. This position will provide administrative support to their assigned department. This position requires having the knowledge of modern office equipment such as a copier, printer, scanner, multiline phone system, and computer. The job requirements include assisting walk-in customers, scheduling appointments, managing provider appointment schedules, and other duties as assigned.


Job Type/Salary:


  • Full-time position
  • Annual Salary starts at $38,500.00 plus benefits!
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Number of Vacancies: 1


Minimum Qualifications and Experience:


  • This position requires five (5) years of technical clerical office work or an equivalent of education and experience.

Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer additional compensation for working outside of normal business hours! Below is the list of shift differential pay that you can use to boost your hourly pay rate. You can also stack your shift differential pay. For example, working nights on the weekends earns you an extra $1.75 an hour!


  • Evening/Nights - extra $0.50 hr.
  • Direct Care – extra $1.00/hr.
  • Weekends – extra $0.75 hr.
  • Holidays – extra $0.75 hr.
