Function/Purpose:

Experienced in Accounts Receivable and Cash Application with excellent attention to detail and organization skills to assure the receipt of customer payments are applied accurately and in a timely manner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize, maintain and prioritize general email mailboxes pertaining to assigned markets
• Cross-train with various receivable team members to acquire a global attitude and strong talent of cash application
• Analyze all credits & debits on multiple daily bank statement(s) with various currencies
• Apply incoming cash, check and wire daily deposits for receivable customers in multiple countries and currencies
• Retrieve, analyze / reconcile all remittance via portals, emails and .pdf
• Coordination and maintenance of Accounts Receivable documents to ensure accurate support is provided for all entries
• Assist all customers (CFS, General Accounting) with inquired regarding cash application, on account clearings and miscellaneous charge offs

Required:

• 1-3 years of directly related experience
• Bi-lingual Spanish/Portuguese preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to multi-tasks and work under tight deadlines in a multifaceted environment
• Knowledge of MS-Office software – Outlook. High level proficiency in Excel, Word
• Experience working with SAP preferred
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently and effectively with a range of individuals
