Summary

The Accounts Receivable Sr. Coordinator will be responsible for generating invoices, entering credit memos, reconciling accounts, responding to inquiries, and basic accounting assistance. Additionally, this position will be the first point of contact to respond to customer inquiries regarding their account status as well as identify those accounts nearing or at delinquency. This position will require a high level of attention to detail in order to properly reconcile and research all accounts.This position will be hybrid in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with 80% remote and 20% office attendance required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Update delivery dates in ERP for shipments to customers and distributors
• Maintain network folder with assembled invoice and shipping documents
• Act as the primary collector working with appropriate contacts at customers to resolve aged outstanding balances.
• Freight claim collections
• Apply receipts to customer accounts
• Under direct supervision, performs entry-level accounting tasks
• Prepare weekly statements for customers
• Answers customer inquiries
• Assist with intercompany billing discrepancies, revenue recognition, and cash& banking processes
• Generate and email invoices daily
• Researches and reconciles customer accounts
• Other duties as assigned
• Reconciliation of General Ledger to the Sub-Ledger
• Customer claims processing. Reconciliation of off-invoice and bill-back discounts and allowances
• Filing customer invoices
• Enter credit memos as prepared by the Analyst and approved by Accounting Manager
• Identify delinquent accounts. Correspond with the customer regarding payment status as the first step of soft collection.
• Punctual and Regular Attendance when Required

Qualifications And Skills

• Broad experience with other software and financial systems.
• Previous ERP or other software implementation experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially with Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and follow through to achieve results and meet deadlines to meet the needs of the business
• A minimum of 3-5 years experience in Accounts Receivable in a fast-paced office environment in a small to medium-sized organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will provide supervisory oversight to our shared services administrators and AR processes.
