Data Analyst - Claims Accounts Receivable - Evicore - Remote

EviCore, a division of The Cigna Group is hiring Claims Associate Analyst – for the Accounts Receivable, Research and Reconciliation team. the Claim Associate Analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing claims data and perform related duties including tracking trends, noting patterns, and detecting any irregularities as it relates to aged Accounts receivable and claims processing trends. The reporting analyst will also serve as a liaison between internal departments and clients to communicate data interpretation and trends.

• Support Claim Manager in identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for internal and external claims reporting
• Stay current with best practices and industry standard trends in reporting and analytics
• Verifies data and processing requirements as it relates to departmental policies and SOPS
• Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of date
• Support special projects, JOC calls, and provider analytics
• Support and streamline provider escalated inquiries based on data trends
• Create and maintain reports to track key performance indicators (KPI) and trends

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications required
• 2+ years of experience with data analysis tools required
• Proficient with PCM, MCRS, and Data Warehouses strongly preferred
• 2+ years of experience with advanced functions of Microsoft EXCEL required
• Previous experience and advanced development with third party systems
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting required
• High school or GED required, Associate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems or a related field preferred
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail and have a dedicated approach to work

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 20 - 30 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
