The Role:

The accounts payable specialist responsibilities include preparing, recording, verifying and paying vendor invoices for goods and services on a timely basis and responding to vendor queries. This position maintains, analyzes, and reconciles accounts payable ledger accounts, and reports. This position works closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to develop, direct, plans and evaluates accounts payable policies and procedures, and ensures external and internal controls and policies are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain vendor records in accounts payable system.
• Enter and maintain journal entries in
• Assist vendors and employees seeking information regarding invoices, payments, etc.
• Coding and verifying company credit card charges, and employee expense reports
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Process annual 1099’s for multiple entities.
• Collaborate with management in the month end close procedures as assigned.
• Responsible for daily accounts payable functions including reconciling vendor statements, coding, and entering invoices, and monitoring the AP email inbox.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• 7+ years accounts payable experience
• Experience with expense reports (Concur preferred)
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Experience with journal entries.
• SAP experience a strong plus

The Location: Englewood, CO Hybrid/in-office (3 days/week)

Compensation/Benefits Information

Accuris states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
