We are looking for a dynamic Accounts Payable Manager. This position will work closely with and report directly to the Assistant Controller and VP of Accounting & Finance. This position is a very hands-on position that will play an important role in the accounting and finance process.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper maintenance, filing and storage of records.
• Assists in various projects and audits as assigned by the Assistant Controller and VP of Accounting and Finance.
• Reviews and posts weekly check runs, expense reports, and vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Develops guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records.
• Helps monitor and manage all incoming AP correspondence, including AP inbox.
• Assists with year-end 1099 reporting.
• Assists with oversight and development of the team, including staffing, performance management and training.
• Ensures accurate and complete tax records and vendor W-9 forms.

Hours and Work Environment:

• Position will be based 100% in our corporate office in downtown Austin. **This is not a remote position**
• Full-time, additional hours required during peak and busy seasons.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to organize data efficiently.
• Ability to multi-task, adhere to tight deadlines and be self-disciplined.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role within a high-volume processing environment, multi-unit restaurant a huge plus.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
