ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE ANALYST
Location: Mooresville, Indiana (close to Indianapolis!)

Job Summary
This role involves supporting and developing the Accounting and Control function in PacMoore, a recent acquisition for GN. Core responsibilities include cash management/application, accounts receivable monitoring and accounts payable processing. Other key responsibilities include supporting the development of the Commercial/Operations Finance function and SAP/Systems integration that will take place in 2023/2024. Our team is responsible for financial reporting, planning, controls and business partnering with other internal/external stakeholders.
Essential Functions

• Cross-train with other GN analysts/teams and feed learnings back to PacMoore finance team
• Play a key role in the Finance integration by demonstrating Glanbia Nutritionals way of working and participate in efforts to bring the PacMoore team into the greater GN finance forum
• Key player in the overall finance and systems integration of PacMoore and support PacMoore finance team in this work. Be a key liaison between PacMoore and GN
• Support financial process and systems improvement activity ensuring all GN financial planning and reporting process are optimized and aligned with overall GN reporting structures
• Support the evolving financial planning process and associated reporting requirements.
• Support the month end close process for PacMoore and associated reporting and controls
• Key role in BCS close process ensuring group deadlines are met
• Support the Shared Services Accounts Payable team and monitor the AP process
• Play a role in ensuring that the required accounting control procedures are in place and are effective. This includes the control and reconciliation of the PacMoore Balance Sheet in line with the Balance Sheet responsibility matrix
• Support the Commercial/Operations finance function in PacMoore as it evolves and key player in reporting KPIs and Commercial performance
• Support the consolidation of monthly results and feed into the monthly reporting process led by the GN consolidation team
• Accounts Receivable reporting and monitoring
• Key player in the day to day running of the finance function in PacMoore
• Payment processing in line with associated controls

Qualifications
Education, Training

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one to three years related experience and ability to sit for CPA exam.

Experience Required

• Strong financial acumen including strong technical accounting skills
• Effective leadership and influencing skills
• Ability to work in a cross functional matrix organization
• Hands on experience of using and operating SAP systems (preferably with knowledge of BCS) and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to write reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routing database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Typical Environmental Conditions

• May be exposed to moderate noise levels (i.e. office equipment and light traffic).

Travel Requirements

• Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
