About Our Client
I'm partnered with the President at a global, multi-billion dollar manufacturing company with over 100 businesses. One of their recent acquisitions is a multi-million dollar leading provider to the transportation and logistics industry. Due to the massive growth the company is experiencing, there have been many recent internal promotions within their accounting and finance team. They are now looking to bring on an Accounting and Finance Manager to their growing team!

Accounting and Finance Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Manages the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, credit management, insurance matters, tax compliance, and treasury functions.
• 4 direct reports in this position.
• Engages and leverages cross-functional departments within the company to achieve shared projects and objectives.
• Undertakes financial analysis and modeling for company initiatives, capital ventures, and ad-hoc requests.
• Enhances accounting and finance processes while upholding conformity with organizational accounting policies, as well as relevant legal and regulatory standards.
• Provides expert guidance to internal stakeholders on financial reporting standards, ensuring the production of precise, compliant, and valuable reports.
• Manages a range of accounting responsibilities including month-end, managing AP and AR, overseeing revenue streams, and handling fixed asset accounting, along with associated analyses and reports.
• Collaborates with internal and external auditors to facilitate successful audits of financials, policies, and procedures.
• Supervises the creation of budgets and forecasts, collaborating with operational teams to develop and manage effective financial plans.

The Successful Applicant

• Management experience a must
• Advanced organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of experience in Accounting
• Manufacturing and/or distribution industry preferred
• Experience with Sage Intacct and OneStream a plus
• Detail-oriented
