Director of Accounting and Finance


Omaha, NE – On-Site

$110K - $140K + Bonus


Our family-owned, extremely entrepreneurial client is in growth mode and seeks a Director of Accounting and Finance to lead:


  • An existing accounting and finance team
  • Audit coordination
  • Acquisition financial strategy and integration
  • Month end close and financial reporting
  • Company financial strategy
  • Management of various financial projects
  • Owner communications and reporting
  • Debt / capital strategy and financial efforts
  • Accounting and product profitability analysis
  • Banking and insurance relationships


Our client is seeking a detailed, driven, and strategic accounting and finance leader to help guide the company into the future. The job isn’t just getting the numbers in the right buckets – this person will be seen as a strategic partner and will be a key member of the leadership team. This is NOT a remote role; as the entire leadership team is located on-site and is active in the local community. Our client is extremely entrepreneurial, embraces family – has Midwestern values and seeks a Director of Accounting and Finance that fits this culture. Given where the company is at currently, the right fit for this role won't be afraid to dive into the transactional details to understand the ins and outs - someone who's willing to put in the time to become a resident expert in the weeds before making strategic decisions.


The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting and finance skills (likely a CPA) including a history of overseeing a month-end close and pulling together financials, an Excel and data manipulation guru, capital management experience and M&A experience, a proven record of success, and demonstrable financial leadership skills. This person will need to have overall financial vision of the future of the company as well as being okay rolling up their sleeves and diving into details.
