Account Manager, Gaming & Esports (Brand Partnerships)

The Fine Print
We're seeking an Account Manager to lead multiple programs and execution for a client’s esports partnerships with Riot Games. The position will manage the execution of the partnership elements on a global level. You will work with the Account Director to have various day-to-day program management and client/agency integration responsibilities and will be a manager of an Account Executive-level teammate.
The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and within a multi-agency team setting, while supporting the brand focused initiatives and event activation. If you're a client services manager with strong communication skills, attention to detail, experience in developing strategic recommendations, and event management/hospitality experience, this role may be for you!

• Prepare written POV’s on all relevant client sponsorship and partnership opportunities
• Serve as liaison for approvals across creative/branding, PR, digital and social media, and media partner promotions
• Management of specific materials related to individual events, including but not limited to management of accompanying digital platforms and all activation elements
• Client presentation development, program recaps and measurement reporting
• Cultivate relationships with gaming and esports properties on behalf of client
• Monitor and research competitive activity for existing clients and produce report of findings
• Facilitate integration of Global esports marketing initiatives with North American based client and global agency teams
• Manage development of fully-integrated marketing activation plans, strategies, budgets and results and agency execution of activities and programming related to client’s global esports sponsorship properties

The Needs

• A passion for gaming – this isn’t just a job for you
• Excellent computer skills, master of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and collaboration platforms
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communications skills – both written and verbal. A writing and PowerPoint assignment may be part of the hiring process.
• Strong budget management and/or reconciliation experience
• 5+ years agency/client service experience in partnerships – some time in client service focused agency a requirement
• Experience in implementing marketing plans and events and a proven track record with on-site management and execution
• Ability and flexibility to travel and weekend/holiday work as needed
• Ability to manage relationships with key partners (e.g. properties, venues, vendors, suppliers, etc.)
• Able and comfortable to operate within a dynamic, global working environment across different time zones and cultures, as well client’s office
• Experience in gaming and/or esports industry a must – additional agency a tremendous plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of personality types

Salary: $70,000.00- $85,000.00 annually
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
