Provide Tier 2 technical support over the phone using remote access tools.

Travel about once a month (for 2 to 3 days at a time) to our remote offices.

4+ years of progressive IT administration experience, preferably with a company with 1000 users or less

4+ years of experience with network troubleshooting and administration (Ethernet, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls, routers, switches)

1+ years of experience with MACs, Linux, iPhone, and Android setup and troubleshooting

A working knowledge and some experience with the following are desired but not required:

Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical and organization skills, and an interest in problem-solving.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Associate degree or better in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience

Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or related role

Working knowledge of computer hardware and other peripherals

Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills with attention to detail

Good interpersonal skills and strong follow-up with users

Must have minimum 2-3 years of IT systems administration support experience

B.S. in computer science or equivalent experience

CCNA or other network certifications a plus

Responsibilities of the IT Systems Administrator

Installing new network hardware, software, and systems

Documenting and implementing system standards

Performing network performance monitoring and troubleshooting issues

Support a Cybersecurity strategy and tools deployments (End-point protection, patch management, etc.).
