Job Description

IT Systems Administrator


Our Exton, PA client is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join their team.



The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible organizational computer communications networks installation, maintenance, and support. This is an excellent opportunity for strong help desk/desktop support specialist seeking professional growth.


Responsibilities of the IT Systems Administrator

  • Monitoring system performance
  • Overseeing Office 365 Admin Center and all related products
  • Documenting network issues and resolutions
  • Documenting and implementing system standards
  • Providing in house IT support
  • Scheduling upgrades and updates
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining network services
  • Installing new network hardware, software, and systems
  • Managing user accounts and servers
  • Performing network performance monitoring and troubleshooting issues


Requirements of the IT Systems Administrator

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team oriented environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 2+ years computer hardware installation and repair that includes network devices implementation and administration
  • Knowledge of Office 365 center and products (SharePoint, Exchange, Security and Compliance)
  • CCNA, MCSA, and/or CompTIA Network+ certification a plus
