Proven director/leadership level experience. - Proven Quality and Compliance leadership experience - min 10 years.

Developing and deploying Quality and Compliance Policy to satisfy the Project organization

Establish and uphold quality standards in accordance with CMS requirements.

Minimum of 3 years of Quality Assurance experience.

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Communicate expectations to team members, provide coaching, and implement corrective action as necessary.

Analyze data and formulate strategies to enhance productivity.

5+ years Management Experience in a manufacturing environment

8+ years food production experience; CPG experience will be considered

Functional knowledge of Lean Concepts

The Plant Director will have the following responsibilities:

The greater Ithaca, NY area

Drive Continuous Improvement and safety culture across entire multiple facilities

Minimum three (3) years program management/supervisory experience.

Total Quality Management certification or Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

Mitigates medical/legal liability through development of a program which links risk management activities with those of continuous performance improvement.

Demonstrated knowledge of governmental accreditation and other regulatory standards, requirements, and guidelines related to quality performance.

Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Determines strategy for changing existing processes to meet regulatory requirements and translating external demands into program goals.

2+ years of People Management experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a steel facility

In-depth knowledge of metallurgical specifications needed to order skelp and calculate the tonnage of coils needed to complete an order

Directs overall activities of multiple operational segments including an Operations Manager, Production Supervisors and Matrixed Support Teams.

Coordinates new product qualifications, and participates in internal and external quality system audits and developing and implementing corrective action plans.

Experience overseeing functions such as accounting or finance, safety and human resources, and quality preferred

Education: Bachelor's Degree: Engineering or related field preferred; minimally, Business Administration or similar

High level of knowledge and skills relating to plant sanitation, GMP's, food manufacturing equipment and processes primarily related to oil products.

Good working knowledge of product formulas, costing, and experience in bringing R&D endeavors to fruition.

Bachelor's or equivalent experience and 10 years of food or beverage (FMCG) manufacturing experience.

Demonstrated progressive leadership, developing talent and team-building skills.

Ability to positively manage change, and leading employee engagement and maintaining employee morale.

Prior experience maintaining positive employee relations highly preferred.

Time Management: tracking/monitoring production and maintaining productivity

Extensive knowledge of principles and applications of FSQA programs including HACCP, Sanitation and applicable certifications

Develop food safety compliance strategy to align with local, city, state and federal requirements.

Lead and motivate a team of Food Safety and Quality Assurance Managers, senior managers, and supervisors across multiple facilities.

Validate and verify the adherence of sites to HACCP plans and ensure compliance with all company FSQA requirements.

Be the primary contact for high-impact food safety and quality issues experienced by the company and industry.

Experience leading a team of managers, supervisors and associates

5+ years’ experience with direct leadership in distribution operations

Superior knowledge of lean, six sigma tools and problem-solving methodology

Experience with Oracle ERP system

Extensive manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

13-15 years professional experience with a minimum of 3-5 in a Plant Manager role

Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.

Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.

Strong communications skills with both internal associates and external vendors/customers

Ability to fast track knowledge and ideas

Oversee activities directly related to making products or providing services.

Partner with key stakeholder(s) to ensure an effective Capital and Expense Project Management process

Verify manufacturing team is staffed appropriately to meet business requirements

Verify facility operations comply with company policies, customer expectations and regulatory requirements

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

Over 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an Steelwork or Fabrication

Knowledge and/or training in ISO 9001 procedures and responsibilities preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance procedures and measuring skills.

Manage and report on the status of the Plant quality objectives.

Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) audits and standards.

Oversee the quality assurance and control processes, including inspections, testing, and auditing.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements a plus

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Prioritization and negotiation skills managing quality issues with suppliers.

Extensive knowledge o the beauty industry a plus

Minimum of 5 years quality experience.

Quality audits of third party manufacturers (TPM)

Provides management of the Division Quality Departments through direction of the Quality Managers at each Division location.

Knowledge and experience to participate and serve as Company representative in military and industrial organizations.

Assures adherence to the requirements specified in Corporate Quality Assurance (CQA) procedures.

Works with the Reliability Test Laboratory to establish product qualifications including internal, military and customer test programs.

Works closely with the Customer Service Department to determine Customer quality requirements and to resolve Customer reported quality and service problems.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and more than 7 years related experience.
