Experience with Statistical and analytical software such as Minitab is a must.

Build prototypes of our next generation products using in-house and external vendors for things like 3D printing, laser cutting, and machining.

Perform various testing and analysis to ensure designs meet product goals, including thermal, fluid, and structural analysis.

Design and build test systems to validate the performance of new designs.

Knows how to use Project Management Software (Trello, Asana, Smartsheet)

Mechanical Engineering major with the following experience:

Mechanical design experience (from prototype to production)

Experience leading and mentoring a team of mechanical engineers, designers and technicians

Experienced in Solidworks and solid modeling

Experience with hand calculations and/or computational analysis methods for mechanical design

Project Management Certification (PMP) or other relevant certifications or experience

Experience with quality management systems compliance, such as ISO9001 and/or AS9100

Project management experience in the same or similar field, including managing a multi-disciplinary team

Experience generating relevant contractual documents including design review presentations, Gantt charts, and technical requirement matrices

o Adhere to budgets, review with management, and map costs and schedule to relevant risks and opportunities

o Work closely with our Technical Program Lead and upper management on relevant project details

Prepares, justifies and submits work requests to Plant Management and Civil Engineering.

Knowledge or safety and occupational health requirements as outlined in applicable standards, regulations and/or technical orders.

Knowledge of standard accepted mechanical and industrial engineering practices to include reading of engineering and architectural plans/specifications.

Independently carries out engineering projects to improve aircraft component repair/manufacturing operations and personnel quality of life/productivity.

You will provide technicial coordination during new torpedo system hardware integration, torpedo production, system level troubleshooting, and new design initiatives.
