The Job

We are looking for mechanical engineering students to complete an internship or a temporary assignment (6 months beginning in August 2023) at our Gatesville, Texas site. If you have recently graduated and are interested in gaining some real-world work experience before jumping into your career, this opportunity is for you!

Position Overview/Responsibilities

• Innovate and sustain process designs that meet quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Work with new and existing processes, including process equipment and testing.
• Manufacture products that meet on-time, quality, productivity, and safety standards as needed
• Deliver and facilitate improvements in operating performance through redesign of core processes based on engineering principles and statistical results. Works directly with staff and managers to implement and maintain process improvements.

Position Requirements

Mechanical Engineering major with the following experience:

• Project Management
• Engineering Statistics
• Knows how to use Project Management Software (Trello, Asana, Smartsheet)
• Materials Science and Processing
• Have proficiency in SolidWorks
• Computer programming language
• Design Course/CAD (SolidWorks Preferred)
