Manufacturing systems experience with knowledge of manufacturing best practices

Reviews all projects to ensure that action plans, timelines, budgets and requirements are met and/or exceeded.

Coordinates plant initiatives and ideas with the President & C.O.O and Plant Managers of each facility.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

University or College degree in Engineering preferred or applicable/relevant experience equal to a degree

Provides direction and support during Lean Manufacturing Methods.

Minimum of 3 years experience of project management, loss intelligence, & problem solving

Experience in cultural change management & managing multiple complex priorities with direct and indirect stakeholders

Minimum of 3 years working with Factory Management & Leadership team, with success in supporting & developing cross functional teams.

Basic understanding of Change Management

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

Evaluating maturity progression and identifying key opportunities together with the Factory ME Manager.

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Operations Management

Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Operations Management

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Master Black Belt.

In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma

Experience with driving improvements in student lending and / or financial services industry

Identify and analyze opportunities, develop solutions, and control plans using Lean Tools and/or Industrial Engineering practices

Change Management Certification preferred or required within 6 months of hire

May be accountable for the financial management of assigned initiatives, including integration opportunities and cost reductions;

Utilize change management tools and methodologies in project leadership;

Change management methodologies and practices;

Experience with BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) formatting preferred

Educational and Professional assistance programs; Paid Memberships in Professional Associations

Possess a detailed understanding of customer requirements. Understand basic business skills and practices. Knowledge/fluency in industry quality management tools.

Works with Management teams to identify and establish project selection criteria with an emphasis on overall process and quality improvement.

Minimum one year experience in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement.

Ability to work on all shifts as needed.

Willing to complete Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Principles courses (within the first year if not already certified).

Report any unsafe condition or action to his or her supervisor.

Work closely with cross-functional departments to design new products with quality and manufacturability embedded from design to mass production.

Utilize statistical analysis and other tools to measure the impact of process improvements and report on progress to management.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.

3+ years of experience in process improvement in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry

You have have solid lean deployment experience leading Kaizen events and creating cellular flow from end to end

8-10 years of experience heavy in Lean deployment and to be eligible to apply for a security clearance (no visa sponsorship)

You have a full appreciation for the basics of lean: 5S, Standard Work, Good Cell Design, Kanban, etc.
