It Support Technician Intern Jobs in Florida

Basic knowledge of Active Directory, GPO's, and Workstation management software, as it relates to users & workstations.

Deploy Applications via workstation management software.

Demonstrates effective trouble shooting and problem solving skills.

A+ Certification; Security, Network+ or MTA certification within 180 days of hire.

Principal Duties And Job Responsibilities

Licensure, Certification Or Registration Preferred

At least one year of experience performing user account management responsibilities within a Windows Active Directory–based network preferred

Provide management information and recommendations for service improvements

Submit new solutions of resolved incidents to knowledge database

At least two years of experience in a direct customer-support role

Good problem analysis and troubleshooting skills

A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred

Manage cloud-based remote access, anti-virus/intrusion prevention

Authorize updates on managed devices

Maintain, remote wipe as needed

Monitor internal device logs, test network for vulnerabilities

Maintain ticketing system to track support requests

Define groups and distribution lists, maintain membership

Consult with IT Manager regarding IT needs and make IT related purchases as needed.

Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge on Microsoft 365 products and Windows 10/11.

Investigates user problems and identifies their source; determines practical solutions; tests and implements solutions.
