Two years experience working to support individuals from diverse backgrounds, preferably in higher education.

Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

This position operates with significant autonomy under the general supervision of the Director of Admissions.

Knowledge of degree programs, applications, and audition requirements.

Knowledge of career exploration, selection, preparation and readiness principles.

Professional presentation and communication skills.

Perform additional tasks at the request of management

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Insurance or finance industry experience preferred

1+ year call center experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with team and customers

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities concurrently

Provides input for internal coordination of college student recruitment and enrollment management goals.

Strong writing and presentation skills.

Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

Creates, packages, monitors, and distributes resource materials for student recruitment programs; analyzes trends in recruitment; develops strategies for program evaluation.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Travel to all PHSC campuses and other areas required.

Garner and maintain a strong working knowledge of the College organization, services and educational programs.

One year of experience in admissions, recruiting, direct sales or customer service required.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.

Communicate with other CSULB departments, educational institutions, and educational advising counselors in order to improve recruitment efforts

Recruit and counsel prospective out-of-state students

Coordinate participation in recruitment fairs

Valid CA driver's license required.

The salary range for this classification is $4,610 to $6,556 per month.
