Manage the global day to day payroll operations, including vendors and third-party relationships.

Minimum of 10+ years global payroll experience

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field and APA Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.

Manage Inflation Reduction Act reporting and leadership.

Manage key US Payroll projects.

Research business problems; and identify trends and escalate to Manager for guidance.

7+ years of payroll experience, including expertise in a multi-state payroll environment.

Extensive US payroll experience and expertise.

Demonstrated leadership ability and conflict management skills, leading by example.

Exceptional organizational and deadline management skills.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or applicable academic discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Proven ability and prior experience successfully managing team remotely and sustaining high engagement.

Manage U.S. and Canadian payroll operations, including six internal team members and outsourced payroll service providers.

Oversee payroll cyclical activities for the payroll team to ensure compliance with all daily, pay frequency, month-end, quarter-end and year-end requirements.

Strong functional Payroll knowledge and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a large payroll department processing Americas payroll.

Knowledge of withholding tax, related tax filings, tax policy and employment regulations in US and Canada.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and vendors.

Strong Excel skills and ability to use Excel in preparing/reviewing reconciliations and analysis.

Workday knowledge is a plus.

Work with Global Director of Payroll in devising the processes and controls needed to operate effectively while managing risk.

Proven experience 5 years+ in payroll administration and management.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements, to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain employee records and validate payroll information.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Manages key US Payroll projects

Manages workloads, schedules activities and handles employee and team escalations for assigned functional unit

Research business problems; and identifies trends and escalates to manager for guidance

5+ years of payroll experience, including expertise in a multi-state payroll environment

Extensive US payroll experience and expertise

Exposure and knowledge of complex HR processes that impact payroll

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Working knowledge and research capability of applicable local, state and federal law pertinent to benefits administration.

Analyze payroll and benefits related accounts for unusual trends to ensure accurate reporting.

Prepares compensation and benefit information to support the proxy and tax provision.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.

Experience with ADP Workforce Now required.

Compile regular and ad hoc reports for payroll, benefit plans, and special management requests.

Possess a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Have Intermediate knowledge and experience with Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Facilitate annual payroll audits for workers compensation, 401K, and company benefits.

Possess a minimum of 6 years in a comparable Senior Payroll Manager role

Process and run multiple payroll activities with semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines. Provide problem resolution and employee customer service.

Subject matter expertise and strong working knowledge of payroll best practices, guidelines and compliance including multi-jurisdictional tax management.

Working knowledge of benefits compliance particularly its relation to payroll as a core function

Strong systems knowledge and experience, preferably with UKG

Staying up to date with changes in payroll regulations and legislation across multiple countries and ensuring compliance with all requirements

Manage payroll-related special projects, including payroll system implementations and process improvements

10+ years of years of experience processing payroll, including 4+ years managing, full-cycle payroll with multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional organizations

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

Continuously driving improvements, automation, communication, and education to increase quality, improve employee experience, and enable rapid scaling

Knowledge of payroll concepts with an understanding of payroll regulations and governmental reporting requirements in the US and Canada

Defining requirements and configuration options for payroll, time reporting, and financial interfaces

Advanced analytical, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

Strong leadership skills and desire to coach and develop others

Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Excellent facilitation and project management skill

Maintain current knowledge of related laws and ensure compliance of all programs, policies, and procedures
