Senior Manager Continuous Improvement Jobs

Project Management – Formal training and work experience in managing mid-to-large scale projects.

Diagnose processes, identify waste and work in collaboration with line management to develop proposals for improving performance.

Facilitate Continuous Improvement project teams consistent with the standard Operating Management System.

Change Management – Demonstrated history of successful change implementation and implementing of operational excellence improvements.

Professional Experience – 5 to 10 years total professional experience in a manufacturing environment in progressively responsible roles.

Food or Similar Industry Experience – Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical or CPG industry in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.

Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, communication, change management skills, and the ability to influence across levels and areas of the business

Experience in technology or methodology trends across the industry

Ability to manage challenges with global program deployment in multiple regions, time zones, cultures, and languages.

Community of Practice – Facilitate COPs to identify needs and jointly drive continuous improvement

Willingness to travel up to 75%

Support and reinforce the effective application of the Daily Management System to validate those actions lead to desired performance improvements.

Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in the areas of Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean principals, statistics, and data analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams.

Team leadership (including indirect managerial responsibilities)

Coaching teams on how to remove complex roadblocks, hand conflict management and develop high performing teams

Experience in creating/enhancing training materials and sharing knowledge at different levels.

Support leaders & managers as they drive measurable and sustainable change within their business units & teams

Acts as a mentor to Business Leaders, Managers and frontline employees to implement and improve CI mindset.

5+ years of leadership experience

Strong Strategic Planning, Organizing, and Project Management skills

Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification - required

Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – preferred or working towards

Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic skills

Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Office products and Minitab or other statistical software

Measure, operate and ensure adherence to critical business processes such as Change Management, Incident Management and Operational Confidence

Identify internal and external best practices and share them across the site.

Help maintain an ongoing project funnel, being filled from all areas of the business.

Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.

8 years of experience with lean manufacturing in the food and beverage industry

Working knowledge of concepts, such as TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.

Demonstrated leadership skills in a relevant discipline, adaptable to change, and quick to learn.

Excellent organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

BS Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
