Overview A Senior Desktop Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the desktop environment of an organization. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop hardware and software, as well as providing technical support to end users. The Senior Desktop Administrator is also responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of the desktop environment. Detailed Job Description The Senior Desktop Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the desktop environment of an organization. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop hardware and software, as well as providing technical support to end users. The Senior Desktop Administrator is also responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of the desktop environment. The Senior Desktop Administrator will be responsible for developing and implementing desktop policies and procedures, as well as providing training and guidance to end users. The Senior Desktop Administrator will also be responsible for managing the desktop inventory and ensuring that the desktop environment is up-to-date with the latest software and hardware. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of desktop hardware and software
• Knowledge of networking and security protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues
• Ability to provide technical support to end users
• Ability to develop and implement desktop policies and procedures
• Ability to manage the desktop inventory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a desktop support role
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification
• CompTIA A+ certification
• Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy

• Knowledge of desktop hardware and software
• Knowledge of networking and security protocols

• 5+ years of experience in a desktop support role
