Job Description

Desktop Support Administrator - IT Specialist


We are seeking a Desktop Support Administrator to join a rapidly growing company in the solar energy industry. In this role you will engage in onsite and remote troubleshooting and provide technical support to our employees. Your expertise in managing various technologies, including PC/Macs, Ubiquiti networking, Google Suite, Office 365, ManageEngine CRM, Salesforce, Slack, and more, will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure. What you can expect:

  • Oversee onsite security and badge management using A3 and Maxprocloud.
  • Take ownership of Slack site, managing user access, channels, and privatization.
  • Administer Site Capture and Enphase Energy user accounts and settings.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, and related hardware.
  • Handle user administration for Solar Sales Reps across various sales-related online tools.
  • Manage Office 365 administration, including installation, licensing, and user account management.
  • Administer Google Suite, including domain ownership, user management, security remediation, and Drive access.
  • Manage remote operations through Zoho and Slack platforms.
  • Perform general software installation and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Handle RingCentral user management, licensing, installation, and site ownership.
  • Utilize ManageEngine CRM for hardware inventory management and NetSuite and/or Salesforce experience.
  • Manage user and password management using LastPass.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Support Specialist with a focus on desktop support.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

Bonus points her:

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or HDI Desktop Support Technician
  • Experience in the solar energy industry or similar field.
